Hi all.
The question is actually regarding NTFS policy of security. Is there possibility to deny write access for administrator? It seems, that administrator allways has right easy to reset read-only attributes.
The problem is actually to distribute read-only data in Flash USB keys. On early modifications there were hardware read-only switches. It would be nice, but nowadays they have disappeared. One of software possibilities easy to maintain would be to format key in NTFS, but it seems not secure enough. CD-ROM read-only file systems? They are not recognizable by default by Windows and need some additional pre-installations/registry changes.
Any further suggestions?
Thank you.
