Hi,

My access mdb file is located on the FTP Server of my hosting firm. I want to read data from that file. But as far as I learned, it is not possible to read data from an access file that is located on a server. So, I imported the file into SQL Server 2000 db. But, I don't have a licenced sql server, so I will have to use my hosting firm for this. Maybe they can give me sql server service. Do you think it is a good idea? If yes, how can I read from the sql server file (My question can seem nonsence maybe, but I'm new at sql server, so plese forgive me for this)?

Thanks.
