OK I've installed aRLC in an Option 11C 25.40B. I've connect the RJ45 to the Hub, How do I find out what the IP address of the RLC is???

You need to use the software that comes with the 91XX unit to access the RLC and assign the IP address.

I don't recall the name of the software, but it lets you program the RLC card and the 91XX units that connect to it. The instructions are real vague on set up.

We were able to set it up so the end users could use dial up to get to it and those instructions are not even in the book.

Good luck.

Thanks to both of you for your help, now I need to get a laptop with a serial port, so I can connect tothe card.

The package you require is 'config manager' It should be on the CD that came with the card, otherwise you can download it from Nortels site, but make sure you use the correct version for the card.

I can connect though the serial port in the phone room, but not the Telnet. Do I need to turn on Telnet in the RLC first before I can telnet in. The book say's the passwords are the same for Serial or Telnet.

I found the answer. you have to enable Management IP info and enter the IP of the PC you want to use.
