Wanna setup dsl on my windows 2000 computer. WinXP very easy as i just have to put in my username and password.

What are the steps i need to complete in Windows2000 to set this up. I cannot find a place to put a user name and password other than dialup.

I do have access to the primary and secondary domain numbers as well as the domain name. I just don't know how to go about inputting them. Any help would be great.

Don't understand the problem - 2k should be very similar to XP - and your ISP should have instructions anyway. Is the connection via a router or directly into your machine via ethernet or USB connection?

Win2k, unlike XP, does not contain a PPoE "dialer" as part of Network Connections.

You will need some third-party program such as WinPoet. This should come from your ISP.

i see.. this is another computer that i am setting up and wanted to put my account on briefly just to install some updates. Thanks for the advice.. i'll contact my isp or just try the WinPoet program.
