I don't think you answered the question. I am having the same issue as Varg and am well aware of the use for the .ldb file. I still do not see an answer as to why the MSACCESS.EXE process is not stopping when I exit the database and there are no toher users in it, as well as the .ldb file not being deleted. Any help you or anyone can provide would be much appreciated.
