Hi Everyone

I have an old SQL 6.5 Server that uses a third party software package to pipe information into tables in a database.

We are in the process of updating the server. We installed windows 2000 and everything seemed to work fine. Unfortunately we are unable to upgrade to 7.0 until we can drop the third party software so for now we are stuck with a dinosaur.

The problem is that when the data is piped into the tables in a database it now completely fills up the database as well as the temp database. I have increased the size of both but no matter how large the temp db or the regular database is it continues to fill up and crashes the server.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Thanks for your help.

Cathy
