I am looking to install oracle 9i but I just found out it costs 800.00 dollars. Does anyone know if Oracle has a evaluation copy or if I can get it somewhere else SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper, thanks.

If you have a fast Web connection you can download a 30-day eval from

http://technet.oracle.com/software/content.html

You will have to register on the site, but it is free

Another option - you can purchase the install CDs from the Oracle store online for about $35 (last I looked). This does not by you a license of course, but you get an implicit 30 day trial with this as well.
