Re-Name Volume

Whilst fighting with Legato I've ended up with some backups written to the wrong tapes.

How do I go about renaming a tape whilst keeping the data on it

IE I have a tape labelled BDM.043 but I want it to be called Week2Thur1, but keeping the data and references.

Any Ideas???

This is not possible unless you move (stage the date onto another media) and stage it to a media which you have relabeled with the correct name.

As a tape is a sequential piece of media, labeling it would cause all following data to be lost.
