Good Evening,

I have a loaded version of XP pro which I believe is not legal. I would like to purchase an upgrade version of XP (it's cheaper by half) and load it on top of my present version. Is this possible? - And will my files and e-mail be left intact in Outlook and Outlook Express. My present O/S is becoming a bit unstable. I run it on a Pent2 400 with about 300mb of ram.

appreciate any good ideas,

Grays

Yes that is possible and if you just do an install over it your programs and files will be left in tact as long as you dont do a complete clean install. Id reccomend with xp though upgrading your ram sometime to at least 512MB though.
