Re-installing Windows98 Fonts - Need Help Please 2

Hi.

I recently formatted my hard drive and I messed up some of my fonts.

I can not longer view the following font:

[tt]I can’t see this properly[/tt].

Is there a way I can re-install my windows fonts?
Can I do it with my Windows CD?

I’m presently running Windows98 (SE).

Some fonts (only a few) are installed with Windows, others come with various software packages such as MS Office, Publisher, etc. I imagine the font you are looking for (monospace) was installed with a software package you no longer have on the system.

Hmm. That’s a good point. You’ve given me the best info. on this topic than anyone else has in the past.
You’re also right that I’m missing monospace.

I’ve been searching and searching for monospace, but I can’t seem to find it.
Do you know where I can get it?

There are many versions of the Monospace font... Monospace being where each character takes up the same horizontal footprint...

My guess is that maybe you had installed Adobe's Font Manager (AFM) at one point int ime and it came from that?? Just a guess.

Try this link, or do an internet search on Monospace and, hopefully, you'll find what you are looking for.

I’ve been to the link posted above in the past. I tried to install those fonts, but to no avail.

I think most fonts on the internet should be supplied with Windows 98 (SE). And as I said I messed around with my fonts after I formatted my hard drive a few months ago and I think I may have messied things up! Eee
