Re Enable USB storage devices

We have a policy to disable USB storage devices(pen drives) from our workstations. Have propogated the policy through group policy for all the workstations. Now that we want to re Enable the USB storege devices for some workstations, undoing the policy on individual workstations simply does not work
Windows Workstations pro, SP2. Policy propogated trru AD windows 2003
