Hello all. I have a HTML form using PHP with an auto responder. When I test is locally on a Windows PC, a simple text file that comes to my address is formatted good with line breaks, etc, and when I upload this page to a Linux server, the text email that I now get comes as one paragraph. Could anyone possibly tell me why?

Thanks in advance,

Parallon

It could be because Win32 uses "<carriage-return><linefeed>" to end a line and Linux uses "<linefeed>".

How are you ending lines?

I am not too sure. I am new to PHP, and this is a free form mailer that I found. This is the only place where I can see that it would generate, and the only part that seems to be messing up is the part in red. It is obviously a variable, but I am not sure where it is getting it from. Also, what does it mean when a variable has a period in front of it?

$EMAIL['textemail'] = "
Dear Recipient,\r\n
This is a notice that a new submission has been generated by Mail Manage EX on $Time.\r\n\r\n
***Form Results***\r\n
".$EMAIL['text']."\r\n\r\n
User's Browser: $Browser\r\n
User's IP Address: $IPAddress\r\n\r\n

Thanks in advance,

Parallon
