I am having a small problem with one the our Dial-up accounts. The client can dial up and authenticate with the server, browse the network, but once the client finds the file that they need and tries to open the file up the clients computer freezes up and wont do anything. Am i over looking anything. Any hints would be greatly appreciated..

What types of files is the client trying to open and how large are they? Does the whole system freeze up or just NT Explorer?

Dial-up RAS can be very slow! I've seen it take 10 minutes or more to open a large text file. During this period, it's just about impossible to do anything in NT Explorer. In a few rare instances, I've had my machine completely hose up on me.
