Hi,
I would like to rank the data based on Profit on my report. I have 2 columns: RepName and Profit.
And I want the report be sorted by RepName.

Does anybody have an idea how to do that?

Thank you very much.

If you are willing to sort the report by the profit (I assume it's a sum per sales rep rather than a raw data field) then simply use Report, TopN/Sort Group Expert...

Then add a simple running total that counts and evaluates only once per each sales rep group. That would show the rank.

Otherwise, if you insist on sorting by name rather then by profit, things get more complex.

Cheers,
