Ranking Results

Hi

I cant seem to work out an excel formula to do this.

I have a column of results and next to this I would like to apply a ranking. Something like this

Result Ranking

100 1
99 2
97 3
97 3
97 3
96 6
etc

Can anyone help ? Final sheet will contain around 50 results.

In excel

press F1

type "rank"

read and apply

In cell B1 type =RANK(A1,$A$1:$A$50)
This will look at all the data in column A down to row 50 (extend when necessary)and rank it.
