I am having a hard time in premiere 6.0 on a mac system 9.2 and also Premiere 6.5 on 10.2. When I do just straight cuts, i get a glitch of a few extra frames appearing between the cuts. The frames are not hiding in a lower video track, but are found many seconds before the cut. Can anyone tell me why and how to fix this?

Not 100% sure but have you previously rendered a section of the timeline which was in the same location as where the problem is now occuring?

I used to get this a lot in Premier 5.5 on a Radius DV card. However, we've upgraded to a new system / card / premier version and the problem doesn't occur any more.

If this is the case then put something that needs rendering over the top of the problem area, render it, and then delete it. It sounds backward but that used to help for me!

Good luck - although by now you're probably all sorted out.
