How can I implement RAID 5 in solaris 7.Do I have to use any utilities or any tools available within Solaris 7.

is it done in hardware? ours is, and solaris just copes with it as a single drive.

With Solaris 7 you should have Solstice Disksuit. This will do RAID setup for you.
It has a GUI interface which is easy to use.

Try Veritas. It's easy to install and configure.
