Does anyone know if I should run a Radeon 9700 Pro Video Card on a 200 watt power supply,? I know they recommend a 300 watt but was wondering if this will be a problem? I have a 2.8 gig P4, 1 Gig DDR, CD/RW, DVD-ROM, Floppy.

I got the machine 3 weeks ago with a Nvidia ti4200 installed and a friend handed me this Radeon for free to install that is why I am doing this, If the answer comes back that I will need a 300 at least how to I go about installing a new power supply from HP being that they are proprietery and usually custom to the mid-tower case that they used. Where is a good site to find an HP power supply?

I don't know the HP model you are talking about but most of the newer HP's that I have seen have normal sized PSU's installed, just take the tower to your local custom build shop and get them to check.
Buy a quality replacement ie: Enermax, Herolchi, Antec, Maxtron etc around 400watts prefered. Martin Replying helps further our knowledge, without comment leaves us wondering.
