hi does anyone know what is needed in terms of hardware and software and the how to of a radius server. can this be used to have a nt domain controller trust a windows 2003 domain controller for authentication? thanks.!

I downloaded a free radius server from multitech and got it installed ok - haven't got around to actually using it though, but it installs as a service on any Win32 machine (ie Windows 2000, XP, or any server OS).
Task Manager reports it as using only 2 MB of memory, so it wouldn't be noticed.
I can't help you with anything more than that - sorry
