Hey there,

I'm a platform manager for my company and currently managing the technology side of our made-to-order food service program. We just installed Radiant POS and have adopted the Radiant CSS and KPS (or KDS if you prefer). We have a pretty well developed program in the POS and CSS side and I've gotten it integrated with our third party back office software so pricing is managed outside of Radiant. Where I'm having trouble is the KDS/KPS side. We use RCM (Radiant Configuration Manager) to manage and configure the POS and CSS but it offers extremely little support for the KPS/KDS portion so I'm using LHDevCfg (Lighthouse Device Configuration) to manage the setup of the KPS right now. I can't help but feel limited in my abilities though. I've been doing a lot of research online to learn more about the topic and keep reading about Aloha POS software. Is anyone else on here using the Radiant CSS and KPS equipment in their sites? Are you using Aloha in addition to RPOS? What are you using the configure your KPS equipment? Are you able to track Speed of Service data by KPS station or transaction number for the kitchen? I'm worried that the Aloha software package would be an overkill considering we already have the Radiant POS software but I feel like we are at a disadvantage to fully utilize the KPS system. Is there something in Radiant that my company is missing? I really appreciate any input or feedback any of you may have....

Thanks!!
Patrick
