MICS 6.1, RAD Rel 3B
Will not answer DID assigned
Do I need a NEWER RELEASE RAD
I know I've done this before and it worked but I beleave it was a rel 6 RAD

I don't have a Rad revision sheet handy, but if it's a "FastRad", it should work. Could it be an issue with the DID itself? Have you tested by assigning it to a different extension?

Lastly, are you able to log into the Rad locally?

Does your RAD have the latest firmware/software? I had a RAD on a 7.0 with a PRI and it would not answer the DID. Did the upgrade and I was good to go.

Everything is good with the DID etc.
It has to be a firmware issue
I know this has never had an update since I've been the only one servicing this system for the last million or so gray hairs.
It is a fastrad
Thanks

I had one fastrad that quit answering on me and the fastrad had defaulted the password back out to nothing. since with no password the rad would not answer I had to go back on site and plug in another password, since then I know enough to have someon on site check and enter the password for me. I suggest that youy have someone on site dial feature 9** and see if they are prompted for a password or just get into rad programming. if they do have them plug in another password for you and try again.

I know the password is there. I was just on site yesterday
Plus I chaged the password about two weeks a go
It's still holding that password
I just upgraded R1 T1 to 6.1 and a PRI

If you can get into the rad with a oper transfer then do so and look at the telephone set tool instead of the browser. Make the DID target line apper on the set tool then dial the DN and see if the incoming call appears on the button on your screen (this does several checks for you and makes sure that all the target line programming is correct) then re-check the line set to answer by the rad and also check and verify that the rad station does not forward your incoming call somewhere before the rad has a chance to pick up. I have never had a problem with the fastrads and target lines(touch wood) so I tend to go back and recheck and concentrate on actually following the call thru the system when I can.

Q: The firmware ugrade address's the issue with Target Lines not answering.

Q: Everything is good with the DID etc.
It has to be a firmware issue

What I mean is the RAD's firmware patch address's the issue on the RAD that does not answer a target line even when you program auto answer on a Target/DID.
