Hello,

I am relatively new to access. The problem I have is as follows -

I have a few tables and subforms corresponding to those tables. The data entry is through the main form containing the subforms.

The first time when I try to save the data, the error message I get is - "You can't assign a value to the object".

I am unable to find what could be going wrong.

Kindly help.

Rgds,
- Keshav.

A lot of times this error is caused by trying to assign a value to a bound control on a form that is receiving input from another source like a Table.
It would probably help to have a little more info.
