Hi,
I have a Cross-tab report in CR8.5, where I am displaying each group's Sum, Count, Maximum and Minimum.
I display the text "Total/Count/Max/Min" in the "Grand Total" at the bottom left of the crosstab, but I would like to be able to display this within each group, like using the "Show Summarized Field Labels" option in CRXI. The user wants to be able to see these titles (for each group) after exporting the report to Excel.
Is this possible, or is there a work-around which will do this?
Thanks in advance,
tr

Assuming you already doing something else with the groups themselves, the only solution I can see is to replace the crosstab with a subreport in the report footer. Have it show group totals and headings, as you described.

It will double the processing time, being called just once.

You could do the following, although the results will appear in one cell in Excel. They would display appropriately in Excel if you selected the cells below and formatted the multiple cells to wrap and merge. This does appear correctly within CR.

Create a formula like this:

whilereadingrecords;
"Count"+chr(13)+
"Maximum" + chr(13)+
"Minimum"

Add this as your second row field within the crosstab. Then go to the customize style tab and select the first row field and check "suppress subtotal".

Lbass,
Thanks for that.
I will try it and let you know.

Lbass,
That worked OK and the users are happy.
Thanks,
