"Stream read error" - PLEASE HELP!

Friends, I developed a backup software that sometimes need to copy A LOT of files. Maybe because of this, sometimes I'm getting a "Stream read error" message on screen.
It seems that it's related to the file handlers, but anyway, how can I fix this?

PLEASE HELP!
