"sniffer" finding traffic issues

I am looking at a "sniffer" on a combination windows NT and Novell 4 network. I have found novell traffic from assorted workstations with a destination of FF.FF.FF.FF.FF.FF Is this a default destination on Novell for something in particular? I'm at a loss as to what it is.
If anyone can tell me or tell me where to look I'd appreciate it. I would say it's causing about 10% of the traffic on the network, right now.

If my memeory serves me right, thats a broadcast address you are seeing. All devices advertise that they are on th enetwork etc. You should also see this from printers, and the occasional MS server as well.

Thanks Mark ... That is what I thought but I'm cleaning up a number of issues including a similar one in NT that I put on the forum and got more or less the same answer. So now at least I know more about what I am seeing... Thanks again

You might want to check that the servers do not have routing switched on because the LAN devices should do that for you. This can cause excessive traffic as the servers are trying to do the same job as the LAN devices.
