Hello,
A somewhat used but not old computer was given to me. It is running XP home edition. When I open google to do a search, the computer begins typing characters in the search criteria field. It types words like "They" "New", "You","a" without any input from the operator. I can simply select and delete the automatic entries, or backspace them away and continue on. However, this is most annoying. Can anyone suggest what virus or other "mal-critter might be responsible for this activity or how I might eliminate this from my life, forever? Everything else seems to be running fine.
Thank you,
Jerry
