"qry has invalid name" error message

Hi

I'm getting an error message when I try to open a query.
It reads as follows...

'qryInspectionLog' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long.

I'm sure the query name 'qryInspectionLog' is not too long, nor does it have invalid characters. But I've tried renaming the query several different ways and MSA just gives me the same message with the different name.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Not a specific answer but it never hurts to compact & repair the DB & try again then.

I see this is an old post, but I'm having the exact same probem with a query I've been using for years and haven't made any changes to. Did you ever figure it out?
