"Outlook could not be started"

Outlook Express would not open having been fine the day before.

Initial error message says 'Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to open the Outlook Express message store. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Contact MS support for further assistance. (0x8007000E, 5)'.

Clicking OK at this point produces another message - 'Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialised. Outlook Express may not be installed properly'.

I've fragmented and cleaned disk, emptied temp files. Any ideas? There were ALOT of messages in Outlook.

Please help!!!
