"On Behalf of Sender" attached to Sender title

I have a user that recently noticed that when he sends his email messages out, the recipient recieves the message from "Sender[email address] on behalf of Sender". I have no idea of what he would have done to cause this but I need to resolve it and haven't got a clue. We are running Exchange 2000.
 
Have a look at the user's Delegates settings in Outlook - that's where A can give B permission to send email on his behalf. Go to Tools -> Options and select the Delegates tab.

I suspect that you will find your answer there.
