"NT authority is shutting down."

Hi Everyone!!

Here's the problem.
Compaq Presario (nuf said?) running XP and IE 6 trying to log into a Java based website.
User gets logged in but when she tries to access a part of the website she needs she gets "NT authority is shutting down."
