"Not A Valid Password" with Make Table Query

I have a Make Table query in Database A that makes a table in Database B. However, Database B is password protected with the password "the". I have tried to use the Dest Connect Str in the Make Table Query by entering "the", PWD="the", ;PWD=the!, ;PWD="the", all have failed. Each time I get the message "Not A Valid Password!".

I've tried entering the same attempts using SQL, same result as above.

Any help is most appreciated. Thank you.
