Hi, I have a server (HP netserver LC3) that was switched off during a reboot sequence and since then there has been no input signal to the monitor. When switched on the fan starts :) and lights come on, on the cd drive and the main scsi drive. they then go out and the monitor never comes out of standby. Switching the monitor off then turning server on and then switching the monitor back on returns the "no signal input" message on the screen.

Any help much appreciated.

Try a different monitor. It is likely it is just a cable issue between monitor and system unit, and the existing cabling should be checked.

Your message comes not from the Operating System but from the Monitor itself, indicating no connection.

I have a dell 8200 which is USB 1.1
I have put in an adaptec Duo Firewire/USB 2 PCI card however it is not being recognized as new harware. Any help?
