"locking tables"

Is there a way to "lock" two or more tables...the problem I have is that I have three tables - one on top of another - all at 100%, when the window is resized and there is an image to stop the table/site resizing smaller (the scroll bar appears), but the other tables with smaller images carry on resizing to the window and my backgrounds don't line-up.
Is there an action to lock all the tables to resize to the largest table (at the time).
Sorry if this is unclear but if you look at the site -

and squeeze the window in, you'll see the top and bottom tables unline.

Try nesting the 3 tables in 1 single cell table sized at 100% and leave the 3 nested tables sized at 100%. The container table will only collapse to the size of the table with the larger image, and the 2 smaller tables will expand to the size of the container one.

You can also create a 1 pixel high transparent GIF the same size as your other images and place it in the other tables. That way they will shrink to the same size.

But I think Cshack's suggestion works much better.
