"Invalid Argument" Error when linking an ODBC table

I have determined that the error I am getting is due to some sort of incompatibility with my MSJET installation. I am using access to link to a 4D server database using 4D ODBC for 4D Server. I know that it isn't a driver issue because when I run a SQL-Pass Through query as a test, it gets the data fine because its bypassing the MSJET installation. However, I need more functionality than a passthrough query can provide.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? And if so, what did you do to work around it? I am at a total loss.
