"Install New Font" menu item missing in Fonts!? 1

Downloaded a barcode font for a user but it doesn't work. In the fonts menu, on the control panel the, "Install New Font" menu item is missing. Without this I can't install the font and windows will not pick it up. Tried the font on other peoples PC's and it works fine; each of these people have the menu item that's missing.

The PC is running Win 95.

Anyone else come across this problem? Give me a clue.

Has know one ever come across this problem before? I know I haven't but it would be really helpful for any ideas.
