In one of my queries I need to look at logon / logoff times for staff for a given (variable) date range. The problem that I'm having is that if a person does not logon or logoff on the first / last day of the range (the data has to be grouped by day for other reasons), a null value is returned for this field.

Currently I'm just using the 'first' grouping on the totals line of the query - is there any way that I can tell Access to use the next (or previous)day in the range's data for this field if a null value is returned (a bit like previous or next could be used in Crystal Info)

Thanks in advance

Steve

Could you share some sample records and desired display? Maybe the SQL of whatever you have done so far?
