I have been fighting this problem for 2.5 weeks now & am desperate to resolve it. One of my clients is running windows 2000 professional. Sporadically they received the error message ‘Error loading printer driver’ when they try to print from their FoxPro system. They are printing to a HP 8100 using the HP 5SI LaserJet driver. I have removed all references to the printer within the report. They have renamed the shared printer name removing all spaces. I am at a loss as to what else to try, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder why you post came out all bolded.;-) Did you think we didn't did see your question (the same one as thread184-507765). Have you tried the suggestion in the faq mentionned in that thread?
Try "reducing" your printer driver the HP Laser III (Just as a test) ans see if that makes a difference. If it does, give HP a call.

I'd also try updating / reloading the Printer Driver. Win 2000 was the first to use the new driver format, and it tried to support both the new and the old types and it was known to get "confused" at times. See if there is a Win 2000 specific driver for the printer. Also check to see if they have updated Win 2000 to SP 2 or better yet SP3.
