Under the activity monitor, drives tab is a field called "Drive Use History" that should give a small graphical indication of drive performance, ours does not !!

Windows 2000 servers
NetBackup Enterprise 5.0 MP5
StorageTek L80 libraries
HP Ultrium LTO2 drives

Any clues why this display is only showing N/A rather than usage history ?

According to the documentation:
Drive Use History
Shows a graph of relative drive usage. The data for the graph is obtained from the Windows performance monitor. The graph is shown only if the following are true:

The drive is connected to a Windows media server (or SAN media server).
A NetBackup job is active (the drive is in use).
The user has permissions to read the Windows registry.
Performance data collection is enabled (select Host Properties > Media Servers > Universal Settings).

All of the points you mentioned are true, still no graph ?

Steve

Also, If you use inline tape copy you will not see a graph for the second and subsequent copies.
