I was getting this message after tweaking some simple queries:

Record is deleted. (Error 3167)
You referred to a record that you deleted or that another user in a multiuser environment deleted. Move to another record, and then try the operation again.

I was locked out of much of my data. Exiting the DB and Access did not help.

I was in the process of writing a sad post to this board and remembered to try the above remedy. Voila! My DB is as good as new.

Just wanted to remind everyone that "Compact and Repair" (under Tools, Database Utilities) can really be a lifesaver.

Hiya,

Did you try exiting the db, reloading the db and trying again?

I don't think that 'Compact and Repair' fixed anything for you.

I think that you had referred to a record in a multi-user environment - another user deleted a record - you tried to refer to it, you got the error.

All perfectly normal database behaviour).

Darrylle
