hahaha a clever pun !!

I am getting "blinking" annoyed attempting to get a piece of text to flash. I have found a HTML help site with an explanation as to how to do this but I cant get it to work.

I understand you can do the following

<blink>NEW</blink>
but can I get it to work
not "blinking" likely!!

Can anyone help, is there an easier way in DW. I am starting to go insane!!!

Well I just tested <blink> in two browsers <I.E. 6.x and Netscape 4.75> and it works in netscape but not IE.

IE doesnot recognize <blink> just as netscape doesn't recognize <marque> Ranjan

<blink> was a Netscape HTML tag going back to NN3.0. Thankfully, it never caught on. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
