"Auto recovery is postponed" message

Working in Word XP, using a Document Mangagement System (PC Docs). Users are sporadically recieving the message that the "Auto Recovery is Postponed..." right at the time the Auto Recovery option is set for (10 minutes). Any ideas or why this is coming up and how to keep if from returning?
