Hi,

I have a problem.

I've recently upgraded to Symantec Information Foundation Mail Security v6.0.0.177 on our Exchange 2003 Server from version 4.61. Immediately after I am getting problems with our Backup exec v9.0 (4367) Application when doing our backup.

The Errors in the job log show as:

Access Denied to file <name of user's mailbox> <location of mailbox>

There are also a number of "in use - skipped" messages in the log.

Nothing had changed in the way of security.

Could there be another reason why this is all of sudden happening ? Is there a place I can check ? Is there a Backup Exec Patch or solution for this ?

We are considering upgrading to 9.1 temporarily until we've researched going to 11D to see if that fixes the issue or not.

Thanks

Kevin.
