Upgraded an Opt81C to RLS 4.5 CS1000...redundant sig servers and everything....at a remote office, they went with all iP phones (though we could have done this with a remote fiber shelf we had spare and plenty of TDM phones..nice to blow $300k+ on phones!)...for Faxes and modems, they bought Quintum AX analog boxes...I finally got some info from Quintum on how to program them to the Nortel...(Our "engineering" group did all the programming and it is totally screwed...they dont know anything about VoIP...much less TDM routing!)...Anyone out there have experience with the Quintums? We have the following DNs:
4 digit local DNs, 9+10digit local, 9+1+10digit LD of course and 8+7 digits network....I setup the Private DP in the Quintum for the patterns above (and also added 911 and 9911 as well as 9011) in spare box as a test..but cant get it to connect. I know the NRS needs programming as well..but not sure if our wonderful egr group left the p/ws the same as the switch...Thats what happens when contractors take over the dept!) IF ANYONE has any REAL hands on with these, please get with me direct and I would like to send you the current and my proposed programming to see if its right.
