I have Windows XP Pro and have recently gotten a new hard drive. On my old HD, I had the same issue. My Quicktime player plays sound very garbled and with a lot of breakup, almost like static, with an echo.
Somewhere on the Internet or some forum I was told to make some setting/preferences adjustment, and the problem was fixed. Now, with my new PC, the same sound problem is recurring, but I CANNOT RECALL WHAT TO DO TO FIX QUICKTIME'S BAD sound.
Can anyone please help me!
