I've taken 2 videos with a Nikon Coolpix 775 camera, and each 15 second, 15 frame/second, .mov video was ~4.923 Mb.
Is that size normal?
I ask because I've seen similar recent 15 second videos as .avi files, which were only ~2 Mb.
I've linked my 2 videos from a webpage, but would like to make them 'possible' for 56K modem users.
Thanks for your advice.

First of all AVI and MOV are quite different formats using their own specific settings to get make video files. Comparing the two are like comparing apples and oranges.

Secndly, you could be recording in MOV format but in uncompressed (that means no settings or compression)

I dont know the specifics of MOV files, but an UNcompressed AVI file at 720x 480 with 44.1 KhZ audio will roughly be 10 megs per second.
