I'm having major problems with Quick VPN Client connecting to the wrt54g. I can connect to my clients office all-day everyday without any problems from a LAN in my office. When I try to connect another client to the router through a Verizon wireless card it will always stick at verifying network and not complete the authentication process even though the router sees the client as connected. This has been a headache thus far and any help would be appreciated.

3 questions:
[ol][li]What version of Windows (including SP level) are you using?[/li][li]What version of the QuickVPN client are you using?[/li][li]What firewalls are being used on the client computer? This includes the XP firewall & any 3rd party firewalls.[/li][/ol]

Windows XP Media, SP 2, and Windows Firewall is deactivated as well as the AVG Free is deactivated. They have a program called Panda. I didnt think that would intefere but I shut that down too.

In my experience, failing during 'verifying network' is usually a problem with a software firewall on the client side. Are you using the most recent version of the QuickVPN client & router firmware?

Make sure your router's firmware is up to date. I seem to recall having a similar problem with my wife connecting to her company VPN and updating the firmware fixed it.
