Quick Help...Please

Hey im work with a a friends logo its in black and white, no grey...My question is can i turn all the white in the image pink with out using the paint bucket?

Try making a new layer, filling it with pink and setting it's blend mode to "Darken".

is this logo to be printed or just for web use?

...the above mentioned technique using the darkened layer mode will render the black areas with extra colours, be alright for web use if this is what it is for. If needed for a printed project you will need a different approach. Please specify the use please.

is the currrent logo in rgb, cmyk, bitmap or greyscale mode? do you have access to a vector version of this logo?

apepp is correct.

Be aware that the method I suggested will mix pink in with the black.

Depending on the exact makeup of the pink you may be able to use the black channel to make a mask on the pink layer and so avoid it overprinting the black.
