Quick DNS Question

Hey all,

I am trying to sort out the dns for our website/domain. Currently leaving off the the start gives a page cannot be displayed.

My problem is my Active Directory domain is the same as our web domain name so am worried if I change the entries pointing domain.com to the primary domain controller im going to squish my Active Directory domain in some way.

Any help for this DNS newbie appreciated,
 
If you get "page not displayed", I believe it must have an A or CNAME, else you would get "server not found" instead. That is why I ask if it resolves to the same IP.

I think you are getting to the webserver, but it is using virtual hosting and can't match the ServerName, or equivalent in the IIs world, I only know apache.

So typically 2 ways to solve, add a ServerAlias so it accepts the non- or add a rewrite rule so it rewrites the non- to the
