Will a Partner ACS R7.0 work in an older 5 slot carrier? It currently has a Partner II 4.0 working, and I am going to upgrade. I need to know if I need an ACS carrier. Thanks

It should work fine. But replace it anyway. You will might have to break off the tab on the front of the carrier. The new carriers are better for keeping the system cool.
