Hello,

I'm trying to find out how to disable certain hardware drivers from loading at system startup. I've created several different hardware profiles and used Device Manager to disable certain hardware for each profile. However, some hardware is not listed in Device Manager.

Example: I have a Wacom Intuous tablet (USB) that I don't want to load at startup for my Video Editing profile. It's listed in MSCONFIG startup, but I don't see an entry for it in Device Manager in order to disable it.

Is there a way to have this disabled when I want to start my system using my Video Editing hardware profile?

Thanks!

Have a look at the options under View in Device Manager. Try checking some of them (especially Show Hidden Devices) and see if that helps.

Thanks Linney! I'll check it out.
